Use a specific title
“Two masons needed in Mukono” tells a worker more than “Urgent staff wanted”. State the trade or role plainly.
Describe the real tasks
List the main duties and the tools or skills needed. Separate essential requirements from things that would be helpful.
Explain location and timing
Give a useful area, expected start date, type of work and application deadline. Update the vacancy if these details change.
Make pay understandable
State the amount or range and whether it is per day, week, month or completed job. Clarify any arrangements that affect the offer.
Keep recruitment organised
Review applications, update their statuses and close a vacancy once it is filled. Avoid leaving applicants guessing about a role that is no longer available.
